The most kosher book on netting?

Hello!
I do not rub in networks. I don’t understand at all how I graduated from the university (I have just a specialization), but something, and I forget the networks very quickly. I recently read half of Tanenbaum's book. Got brain cancer. Olifers didn't impress me at all. Articles on the Internet are knesh cool, but articles are articles.
What I want to get is a general understanding of TCP/IP networks. I don't want to be a network engineer.
