The most basic setting mikrotik crs125. Is it enough?
As far as I understand, from illustrated and not very instructions, the basic setup of Mikrotik as a gateway looks like this. And even works. But ... The provider says that there is a periodic storm from the network. Tell me what to add?
/ip address
add address=176.192.10.74/30 comment=defconf interface=ether1-master-WAN \
network=176.192.10.72
add address=192.168.1.1/24 interface=ether2-LAN network=192.168.1.0
/ip firewall nat
add action=masquerade chain=srcnat out-interface=ether1-master-WAN
/ip route
add distance=1 gateway=176.192.10.73

Either disable DNS allow-remote-requests, or cover port 53 from the outside.
Well, there looking at which port they are breaking. Just a mistake with open port 53 - the most popular.
talk about the most basic setup. better config here - you can use screenshots - you can overwrite real ip, poppy addresses. storm is a rare thing through nat - if the clients are healthy
Reset your Mikrotik to default config, open winbox port. Everything else is already included in the config and works great. You only need to add the address to ether1 and the default route to this config.
