The monitor is covered with blue lines and spots, where is the breakdown?
Dell U2713HM, one day without turning off and without blinking, just covered with blue lines and spots. Lines appear everywhere: in the post, in the BIOS, in the bootloader, on the logon, etc. I replaced the DVI cable, tried another connector on the video card, changed the power cable, nothing helped.
The "breakthrough" occurred when I started playing with the settings of the video card: if you lower the refresh rate from 60 to 40 hertz, then the lines disappear. Several games in full screen mode (Dota 2, Dark Souls 2, Half-Life 2, maybe many more) also give bands regardless of the set frequency.
The other day I moved the system unit a couple of centimeters, and at 40 hertz the screen either cut down and turned on again, then similar stripes appeared in the center and immediately disappeared. I thought, maybe it's still a disease of the DVI connector or a completely new cable? Or is the noise coming from somewhere?
