The microphone intermittently stops working during RDP connection. How can you trace the cause?
There are 2 problematic laptops from different manufacturers, they have in common, in addition to the owner, a processor from the atom series, OS windows 7 starter, as well as Skype installed. When they connect via RDP to a remote computer, then within one session, the microphone stops working at random intervals (10 seconds - 2 minutes) until some program accesses it again.
For example, the interlocutor in microsip stops hearing the user until the next call, and when trying to record sound in audacity, after a short time it will stop (and the time stamp will stop changing), but the recording will not be visually stopped in the program interface. Nothing gets into the audacity log.
Tried the following, no result:
-Microphone burst mode disabled on both laptops;
-prohibited Skype autorun on both laptops;
-turned off all the "improvers" of the sound;
- I haven't seen any packet loss, but I can't completely rule out such an option;
-in the new user on the remote computer, the problem remained;
- the problem is not reproduced on other computers.
Prompt the tool for diagnostics, or the possible reasons.
