The microcircuit in the power circuit burned out. Does it make sense to supply power through the battery?

I have an asus x5di laptop. The chip burned out right after the power connector. The service center said that you can throw it away. There is an idea that they simply were not able to do this kind of repair. Does it make sense to try to give power through the battery circuit? are they different? Or do they share a common thread? For example, disassemble the battery, pull out the insides and connect the power supply instead of the battery itself.

Bring it to a normal service, and not to these half-educated mobile workers.
Repair of power supply chains is one of the most running operations.

Power circuits are the simplest thing in a laptop. I guess they just didn't want to mess around.

You can try, but then everything will burn down in general (maybe it has already burned down).
Isn't it easier to buy a new motherboard? It costs $46.50 on Alibaba.
