The laptop does not turn on when you insert a USB flash drive, what should I do?

An old problem, if you insert a USB flash drive and turn on the laptop, a black screen appears with a small white strip like in the terminal, no matter what you press - it does not react at all, the flash drive is pulled out - the laptop is loaded. If you just insert a USB flash drive with the laptop turned on, everything is fine, the flash drive works fine. I overload - again the black screen. Previously, I simply did not turn on the laptop with an inserted USB flash drive, but now I want to reinstall Windows via a bootable USB flash drive. I put the boot order in the BIOS and I just can’t start the unit with a flash card.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT RELATED TO THE BOOT FLASH DRIVE, if you insert absolutely any flash drive, the laptop will not start, all connectors are working, the flash drive on another computer works fine, my question is not related to installing the operating system, but to the fact that the laptop does not turn on with the inserted flash drive

Yes, there is no problem here as such ... or badly created a bootable flash drive (try Rufus) or the Legasy mod is not enabled in the BIOS

We go into the BIOS
Find usb boot - set disable
Or find the boot priority and set "os boot manager"
Or boot disk / ssd in first place
Change places +/-
Regarding the installation of Windows
Rufus was mentioned in the comments It
remains to solve the issue of formatting
Uefi - fat32
Legacy bios / uefi (safe boot off) - ntfs
You don't need to touch the priorities, just find the key that is responsible for the BIOS boot menu when you start the laptop. There and select a USB flash drive
Pro black screen with a bottom line
The reasons can be different: a flash drive, a flash drive through an adapter, a crooked image, a crookedly recorded image.
Try another flash drive and another image

Some kind of muck arranges a hangup right in the process of executing the firmware code, at the very initial stages. This may be related to the USB power circuits (this assumption is not so easy to verify).
In the old days, a special tool was used to solve such problems - the Port-80 diagnostic board, plugged into the ISA or PCI slot, on which the POST step numbers (self-test procedures) quickly ran during the start of the computer. If at any of these steps the computer hung up, then the number of this step remained clearly visible, and in a special table (each BIOS manufacturer had its own tables), this number determined what was done at this step, i.e. the actual reason for the hang.
Unfortunately, in modern laptops there are no slots into which Port-80 can be plugged, which is a pity ... So, it seems that the laptop is cranky.

Look at the manufacturer's website - maybe there is a more recent BIOS firmware.
