The laptop does not see the USB flash drive in bios mode?
Good time
There is a bootable flash drive with ubuntu 14
There is a samsung laptop (mother / bios - attached a screen)
The flash drive is 100% working, since we check it on the PC HERE - the bios sees the flash drive, and calmly boots from it if necessary
But the laptop - not in any he does not see the flash drive and that's it ... (in the BIOS)
How can I check - what's the problem?
On the notepad, the usb ports are normal - since after the system boots, the flash drive is visible, it reads / writes perfectly

Did you mount the image with your hands, make it bootable?
Try https://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-instal...
I had a similar problem, I changed the flash drive, everything is ok)
There are 2 options
1. Disable USB3 support
in BIOS 2. Disable fast boot in BIOS
