The IP address does not change even when the VPN is turned on. What is the problem?

There is a foreign site on which my ip address is blocked (for some reason) and when vpn is turned on, nothing changes - the site remains blocked as it was, and the previous ip is displayed on the site to check ip.
What is the problem and how can it be solved?

Well, that's how it should be.
The fact that you are using a VPN in no way changes your routes and addresses.

Apparently, you need to access the Internet not through your provider, but through a VPN. Check that the default gateway is on the VPN network, or set up routes.

Your question, judging by the previous ones, concerns business,
why not invest by paying for a quality consultation?

Does your IP address change after enabling VPN? This can mean two scenarios:
In the first case, you need to look at the connection log and look for errors in it. Googling further errors and trying to understand the problem.
In the second case , if the OpenVPN GUI client is used to connect, then it requires a forced launch through the right click on the shortcutrun as administrator . Even if you are already logged in as administrator. The problem is described here .
After successfully changing the IP address, the blocked site should start working. If the advice does not help, write in the comments to it, I will suggest other solutions.

When connecting a VPN in the settings, check the box - the gateway in the remote network. Then all traffic will go through vpn
