The effectiveness of using SCL in industrial automation?

Hello.
I hope there are "asushniki" here who can clarify a small situation. I recently started working in industrial automation. A programmer by education, and that's why I decided to try to write the next project entirely in SCL.
At work, basically, all projects are written in FBD, a couple of contractors in IL.
Someone writes in SCL? Could you tell me about the pitfalls.

@jijidesign

Who is used to what.
I myself did not write anything big on SCL. Mostly on STL, and happened on LAD.
What I don’t like about SCL is the allocation of fronts and the cumbersomeness for writing logical operations, which was the first thing that came to mind.
I like the convenience of working with arrays, mathematical calculations.
UPD:
Yes, even if you have to modify someone's project, but there are no source codes, then it's not very pleasant to understand the code generated by the SCL compiler.
