The domain administrator cannot take ownership of the file, how can I fix it?
Good afternoon!
OS Windows Server 2008 (not r2), domain controller.
The network share from which Consultant+ is launched. Nothing foreshadowed trouble, but the program began to swear at a busy file that could not be accessed.
File Properties - Security tab - "You do not have permission to view or change the current permissions for this object." Click "advanced", there the first tab "permissions" - "You do not have permission to view or change the current permissions for this object." Owner tab - "Failed to display the current owner.". In this case, the change of ownership cannot be carried out, "access denied". If you go one level higher and change the owner to a folder and nested containers, it changes everywhere except for this file.

Recently, the same situation occurred with deleting the Steam folder: "Permission denied" error. Did a search for the folder name in Process Explorer , found that it is used by igfxtray.exe (an application for managing graphics settings). Nailed igfxtray.exe - and everything was deleted.
It's all strange, of course.
