The computer does not turn off, is the mother or the processor to blame?
The problem is the following: my PC does not turn off, after the OS shuts down, the system unit continues to work, all coolers work. If the PC goes to sleep, you can return it only by completely turning it off and then turning it on.
You can turn off your PC only by pressing the power button. Restart does not react at all.
I took the computer for repair, I was told that it was not possible to check that the processor or the mother was broken, since they did not have a 1155 socket, neither a motherboard nor a processor.
Hence the question: is it possible that the matter is in the processor? Or boldly change the motherboard?

If you want an exact answer, bring it to another service.
If you want logical advice - change the motherboard along with the processor and immediately upgrade.
reset the BIOS to default, if it doesn't help, then pick the power settings, most likely it's at "off" - go to sleep, rearrange the Windows, if you feel sorry for yours, put a clean one on another HDD.
If all of the above does not help, change the PSU. and mom has nothing to do with it, if the conders are not swollen.
The multicontroller on the motherboard is responsible for the power supply modes. In particular, the above syndrome may be the result of a malfunction of the multicontroller. The processor has nothing to do with it. Just like the power supply. If resetting the BIOS settings and reinstalling the OS does not solve the problem, repair or replace the motherboard.
