The computer does not start with new memory modules, why?
I own an Asus P5P43TD motherboard. There were 2x2GB strips of Mushkin DDR3 1600 RAM. I decided to increase it to 8 GB and ordered Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 1600 2x4GB from Amazon.
So my computer flatly refuses to boot with them. Just a black screen and cooler noise.
I set the bars separately and together - evenly. The old ones run without problems.
I understand that my motherboard simply does not support new memory modules.
My question is what is causing the incompatibility? After all, both models are 1600 MHz, both DDR3, and the timings are almost the same.

I received a comprehensive response from Kingston
Hello Konstantin,
This part number is not compatible with your system. This memory is built with D-RAM chips that are a higher density than what your memory controller will support. Unfortunately we no longer make any memory that is compatible with this system. The components needed to make compatible memory are no longer available therefore we have no other alternatives. My apologies.

Open memory QVL and check if your new memory is listed
. Anything not in QVL may not start.
Mushkin 996657 DDR3 1600 4096MB(Kit of 2) DS N/A Heat-Sink Package 7-7-7-20 ● - obviously you have it.
Maybe the modules themselves are faulty, maybe you need to update the BIOS, maybe there is a fundamental incompatibility with this motherboard model.
If the motherboard provides for work with single modules, then try installing them separately.
It is also worth checking the BIOS version, if not the latest, then it might be worth updating.
Motherboard Asus P8H61-M LX3
If in BIOS the memory frequency is set to AUTO, the memory is up to 1600, and the mother keeps only 1333, then the computer will not start.
You put in the old memory. Handles set the frequency 1333. You put a new memory. And everything works. Until you reset the bios.
Updating the bios to the latest version does not help. There is still a jamb with a memory mismatch.
