The best text editor?

In my work and study I often come across documents. Therefore, a high-quality text editor has always been needed. Recently I have used Office 365, but now the subscription is coming to an end, but there is no desire and no need, because of the whole variety of applications and functions that it provides, only Word is used and nothing more.
For this reason, I began to look for an alternative. Naturally, I tried LibreOffice, on the whole it suits me, but the appearance, some thoughtfulness even on a powerful machine, do not allow using it comfortably.
Is there any alternative? docx support, lightness and simplicity. Nothing more is required. Windows operating system.
PS Google Docs is not suitable, because I do not use Google services at all.
