The best Linux textbook is Linux itself. Personally, I felt at ease as a user only after 10 years of use. Is it possible to speed up this process? Probably, but what will be the cost is another question.
Therefore, the best advice is not to strain, but to use and enjoy the learning itself. Because the result is worth it.

I would recommend Moshkov's library - lib.ru/unixhelp
There, with the basics, but hardcore enough.
And so, install any Linux, for example debian or ubuntu and go to the help https://help.ubuntu.com/lts/ubuntu-help/index.html or https://www.debian.org/releases/stable/amd64 /
well and https://www.debian.org/doc/user-manuals
Ubuntu/Debian twin brothers.

And I would recommend a video course from the Specialist - Linux Server Administrator (Ubuntu). Very interesting material, with all the detailed explanations, and then you can proceed to the "mana", install a virtual machine and try to work. There is also a lot of information on the off-site ubuntu and on habré.

I agree with vanyamba-electronics. The best thing is to create a virtual machine and try to put it on it. Independently solving, according to mana, according to the documentation, all the questions that arise ... Surely the first question will be - "which distribution kit is better?" :-) I answer right away - for which there is a specialist nearby :-)
