The other half undertook to write an (audio) book by dictating notes. Notes must be dictated (including against the background of street noise), shortened, interchanged, etc. It is important that you can easily upload what was dictated in mp3 format, that there are no restrictions on the number of recordings, and that without extortion of buying a paid version.

Voice Recorder on iPhone and GarageBand (always included with PC) on Mac.
But the street noise there, it seems, is not filtered out.
