Text shadow in SVG?
Hello friends! I can not help how to make an SVG logo with a shadow. Well .. it seems to be created, but the problem is that the illustrator creates a png image only with a shadow, and if it is deleted, the shadow is also deleted. How can this be avoided? How to make a logo with a shadow, but without png. And with a normal display. Help((
Here's a screenshot. (Yes, I'm still on XP.)

You can use the drop-shadow filter . True, support for this feature is not very big yet. This is if you want to save the logo in a vector - then the shadow will have to be added dynamically via css - vector graphics are not designed for shadows and the like. However, please note that in order to do this, you need to insert the svg into the page as text ( methods ) in order to be able to use the selectors.
And if you just need a logo with a shadow, and it doesn’t matter what format it is in, use png (2 versions are possible, for retina) and don’t bother. In most cases svg is not a necessary solution.
