Text resources, what and how?

Good evening. I'm trying to create an application similar to a reference book. And I had such a question as it is better to store texts (large)? And what is the best way to display them on the application screen (android:text="TextView") or programmatically (textView.setText("MyText");) Thanks in advance))

It's better to use assets (resources folder) and HTML - Throw all this into a WebView (special url for assets is passed). I did this help in one application. If you do not need to protect against copying, then everything is very simple, you can also use all the features of the HTML viewer, including pictures and scripts.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of texts, so I think how to make what is more convenient and practical.
