Text/graphic file preview in tooltip (hint)?

Is there a program for Windows XP and higher that, when you hover over a text document or an image, displays the content in a tooltip?

Previously, I used the add-on for the QTTabBar explorer for this, but soon abandoned it because of it, the explorer often crashes when the context menu is called.
