Testing and searching for bugs in websites?

What is the best way to find bugs on websites, applications? How to check them? Is this a bug or is it just your problem. Tell me please.

If we are talking about internal testing (i.e. you are testing your product), then you have access to tasks\documentation\customer, based on this you can determine where is a bug and where is a feature.
In case we are talking about external testing (you are trying to find errors in someone else's product) - there is an obvious checklist of bugs for security and data completeness, and in cases of standard functional errors - only common sense and hardcore.
How to find the best:
Read about testing theory, test design practices, etc. After that, you will have a rough understanding of what and how to test.
