Test task for 80 hours of development???

Hello!
I'm trying to get a php junior and responded to a vacancy in my hometown, they sent me the following task: https://habrahabr.ru/post/21812/ and they said they won't communicate with me until I do it. The task is not difficult, but rather voluminous (80 hours!), because this is my first test task, I don’t know if it’s normal to spend so much time on one task? If this is the norm and it will take so much time for each interview, then the situation is very sad ...
P.S.: This office has had a vacancy for more than a year, which also
suggests work as a translator, it was enough to have an interview for 20 minutes in English. language to make sure I know at least something :)

If the task is large enough, it should simply be paid.

I didn’t follow the link, but if the test is REALLY for 80 hours, these guys just fulfill orders in such a fun way without worrying about payment -)) An acceptable test is 8-10 hours, and then with the condition that if ok, the work will be paid.

this is not normal, any normal HR or team leader will explain to you in detail why, but this happens.
In this case, these are exaggerated requirements from the candidate, I honestly ran into such people a couple of times, it will be extremely unpleasant to work, especially for a beginner, such people look down and rarely spend a lot of time on detailed explanations.
The last case was a front-end worker was needed for some kind of project, the test was for three hours, but they really asked for it (you know what HRs are sometimes capable of =). In general, I wrote a much more flexible and functional script, I captured the enthusiasm. After that, I found out that the vacancy was given by some kind of "hacker" who at the age of 9 hacked into the Pentagon (yeah, soap with password 123, except that such people do not shout at every corner that the Pentagon was broken), and she told me all this in all seriousness girl HR adding a bunch more, but the Pentagon was especially memorable.
By the way, they didn’t take me, they said in a long pretentious text you are a fool, you should have written 1 + 2 and you invented field theory, we won’t work together. “We won’t work together, you are incapable of understanding my tasks,” by the way, was the main reason for the refusal, this text appeared in the letter like this.
It has an essence when deadlines and all that, but this test task where showed more than asked, in general, I was offended to the core that I didn’t even get to an interview with a junior IT specialist (the hacker was accordingly senior and interviewed only the last three candidates, yes I was told so, "a junior programmer will interview after you").
so well, take him to the bathhouse .. trust the experience of people.

On Habré, this is only a topic called "Test task", but in general it is implied that a person performs it while on a trial period and receives payment.
So if you are not offered such conditions, then send them to hell.

UPD from the article:
"therefore, 80 hours are given not so that he simply does this task, but to bring reality (his knowledge) in line with the checkmarks in his resume opposite php, html, css, js, ajax, mysql."
and why are you asking this question, if it is enough to read the comments on Habré.
