telnet + cron problem?

Good afternoon!
There is a thermometer (small meteo). Wrote the script telnet -4 192.168.1.2 23 >> /scripts/data1. When I run the script manually everything works great.

Escape character is '^]'.
Trying 192.168.1.2...
Connected to 192.168.1.2.
Escape character is '^]'.
Socket1

Socket3

But if I run it via cron, I get the following:

Connected to 192.168.1.2.
Escape character is '^]'.

What could be the problem?
