Tell me how to defeat the backlight reset in Ubuntu 11.10 when the laptop is running on battery

Notebook HP Probook 4310s.
Gallium 0.4 on AMD RV710
The function buttons work fine, the brightness is set as I want.
However! As soon as I work on battery power, after a couple of seconds, the brightness is reset to economy mode. It's annoying when watching a video.
Tell me, gurus, how to make the system remember the last will of the owner and not ignore the backlight for the sake of the battery?

super key (win which), then drive in "brightness", then uncheck "Reduce screen brightness to save electricity"

There is a good instruction on this topic - help.ubuntu.ru/wiki/laptop_mode .

There are power consumption profiles in Settings -> System settings -> Power management. Select a profile for battery operation and adjust the time after which the brightness decreases (or disable this option altogether).
For example, I most often watch anime or short series, so I have to reset the brightness after 21 minutes of inactivity and then turn off the screen after a minute. If I watch a long movie, I have to twitch the mouse, but it doesn't bother me much. But if I went somewhere and forgot to close the lid, the energy would more or less be preserved.
In general, I have this problem only when viewing flash video. If you download and watch through the player, the system understands that this is also an activity.
And even for flash video, in my opinion, there is some kind of fix, but I don’t remember where I read about it at all, and I’m too lazy to google it.
