Tags vs tags with a lattice (hashtags) - what to put in "classic" blogs?

In social networks and the cart, everything is clear - only hashtags are quoted there. What about WordPress and LiveJournal? Should I add a hash before the tag? How do search engines treat tags in classic blogs? Will, for example, Google search among the latticeless WP or LJ tags if the search is based on a hashtag?

The lattice is needed in social networks to make the word a tag. It makes no sense to add a grid to WordPress. Whether Google searches for a tag depends on the quality of the tag pages.
