Symfony: MappedSuperclass?

I'm trying to use the User entity in Symfony, which is described as @Mapping\MappedSuperclass , it throws an error: Class "Company\Bundle\MyBundle\Entity\User" is not a valid entity or mapped super class.
Who knows what's the problem?
