Switching layouts with different buttons in Mac OS?

Is it possible to configure switching layouts to right and left shift? Or viola, but so as not to lose the main function. Those. you press the left one - it changes to Russian, you press the right one - English. I want a deterministic switch, as described here

You can download KeyRemap4MacBook and set up a rule for the shift button there: in private.xml, put two or more on one button: that is, we need shift and, for example, F17. And already on F17, the layout switching service.
Theoretically, it should work. I'll try it tonight and let you know if it works.

Try installing punto switcher, I used it to set up switching to cmd+shift. If you don't like the punch switcher, you can turn off "autocorrection".

For example, I like to switch the layout with the "CapsLock" button. Functionally, I absolutely do not need this button, and the location is very convenient for switching the language.
