Switching HTML to PHP syntax in Sublime Text 3?

When trying to switch HTML syntax to PHP (and vice versa from PHP to HTML) in Sublime Text 3, neither in the menu nor in the lower right corner does it change. How to get around this problem?

The fact is that the html and php markup parameters in ST3 are in the same file (html), and set syntax php refers to it.
This is normal behavior, because the backlight works the same there.

ApplySyntax - determines the syntax in the current file on the fly.
