Suggest books on interface design

Good afternoon.
I noticed many times that when working on personal projects I can’t make a good interface (we are talking about desktop applications - not mobile and not web). It turns out either convenient, but ugly, or pretty, but less convenient. Naturally, I would like it to be both beautiful and convenient at the same time ;)

Prompt good literature on UI design, especially interested in something about color - how to choose the right colors, make a palette, etc.

Books will help you at the very beginning, but only sources will bring you real benefit.
As for palettes, colors and others, this is not a UI topic, but a general one.
In general, I recommend the following
Color Theory for Designers, Part 1: The Meaning of
Color Theory For Designers, Part 2: Understanding Concepts And Terminology
Color Theory for Designer, Part 3: Creating Your Own Color Palettes

For interface design, in addition to Raskin, I recommend Alan Cooper "Psychiatric Hospital in the Hands of Patients" and "On the Interface" (the book is a little heavy to begin with, but very extensive)

I really liked the book "Emotional Web Design" by A. Walter. The examples in the book are given on existing websites, but this is not scary, since the main idea that the author wants to convey lies in the psychology of users who use the products. The book helps to look at interface design from an unusual perspective. When I read the book, I was visited several times by the thought that the late Steve Jobs also read it. In addition, the book is small and easy to read :--)
