Suggest a video editor for home video editing

The complexity of the task is that my mother is engaged in the installation , i.e. programs at the level of Adobe Premiere will not work, you need something simple like a Windows collection of MovieMaker glitches.
It is desirable that it would be possible to cut video, insert photos, overlay music, transition effects, titles (inscriptions), in general, everything you need for a Great Home Chronological Video

the movie maker is no longer relevant, try the windows live film studio, I use it myself - I like it, it's convenient, it doesn't seem to be buggy

Take a look at Camtasia Studio . My mother uses it in full, she was even surprised! :)

Cyberlink PowerDirector is an excellent program for housewives and not only.
And for only $69.95
I’ve already edited HD video for 2 years, since it supports Video cards (CUDA + AMD (I don’t remember what they call it, since I myself am on a needle from Invidia))

I really like Corel VideoStudio X2 (even though X3 is already out). Works very simply and quickly. I figured it out in the evening using the "scientific poke" method.

I recommend Sony Vegas. If even simpler - VirtualDub.
