Sublime Text 3: How to disable/override software hotkeys in Ubuntu/Linux?

When using Sublime Text 3 on Windows, after assigning Alt + i to the "user" hot keys, the standard action of the program to open the "Find" tab is blocked.
Having installed Sublime Text 3 on Ubuntu, I was surprised that the action is not reassigned: the command I set in the "user" hotkeys settings is ignored - the bookmark is still opened.
The command is 100% correct and it is in this key combination, as I tried to put commands that work on other key combinations on Alt + i, after which they stopped working.

It was horrible, but I found the solution here .
I don't know what this means, but you need to run the following 2 commands in the terminal:
sudo su
echo "export UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0" > /etc/X11/Xsession.d/81ubuntumenuproxy
After restarting the computer, the problem was solved.

As an option, remap the key in Ubuntu itself so that there is no conflict.
