Stream of WoW & Overwatch games and the amount of traffic, is it enough?
Good time gentlemen. Asked such a question. I live in a private house, the provider that provides the Internet cannot give an upload speed higher than 1 mb / s, so I want to buy a 4G modem, it seems to upload up to 50 mb / s. But the operator gives only 40 gigs of traffic. Who can tell if this is enough for a month of streaming just two games for 4-6 hours a day.
I would be very grateful if someone gives useful information. I will stream in 720p.

[email protected] ~2500-3000kbps, we consider 2500 * 3600 * 6 = ~52GB. Plus, keep in mind that "up to 50Mbps" can also mean 1Mbps because it's 3g / 4g, it will never be stable and generally depends on your location. You also need a stable channel of at least 5Mbps.
The calculation was thrown off above in the comment to the answer.
Regarding the stream of the game, as I understand it, you will stream and play on the same Internet channel on the network. LTE for playing online has a large ping and, in addition, you will clog the outgoing channel with the stream itself. This is the reality of LTE networks, despite the BS loading or proximity to it, when you have a constant outgoing bitrate and you do something else at the same time, the speed will sag and most likely the stream will lag.
We did broadcasts through an LTE modem, and from experience you need to solve the following problems:
- The modem must show 4+ sticks stably (it is solved by buying a modem with the ability to connect external antennas. Better in MIMO technology (two antennas)
– In advance, you need to measure the speed of speedtest with a specific provider. It must be in the range of >10Mbps per outgoing channel
- You need to buy a modem that does not freeze. Believe me, such modems do not cost 500 rubles
- It’s better to find a Wi-Fi router (I don’t remember the name), but there is a very good amplifier and antennas + built-in modem. Yandex market and reviews to help
