Strange problem with rtorrent?
Actually, the problem is with setting up the rtorrent torrent client. Installed, everything works (together with rutorrent). I've been seeing some weird work lately.
I add a torrent, it does not load for a long time. Then after only a few hours the download starts. It's not about the torrent itself and the number of distributors (I tried the same torrent on the desktop, via transmission - everything is fine.
Here is the rtorrent config:
max_peers = 400
max_uploads = 5
download_rate = 0
upload_rate = 0
directory = /home/sk8er/Torrents
session = /home/sk8er/Torrents/.session
#execute_log = /home/sk8er/.rtorrent.log
port_range = 6900-6900
scgi_port = 127.0.0.1:5000
port_random = no
check_hash = no
use_udp_trackers = no
encryption = allow_incoming,enable_retry,prefer_plaintext
system.umask.set = 0000
system.file_allocate.set = yes
What should I do?

For some reason, I thought in the direction of the polling time for distributors and DHT is not specified in the author's config (is dht enabled by default?)
You can see the detailed documentation on setting up the client here .
+ you have allocated ports port_range = 6900-6900 (1 piece) I think this is not enough.
# The default DHT value is "off". For DHT to work correctly, the session directory "session" must
# be defined.
+ define DHT and configure port forwarding on the router (you can read about setting up routers [NATs] here ).
