Strange monitor behavior when connecting Raspberry Pi?
Hello.
There is a Raspberry Pi 2 model B, a 2100 mA PSU, an HDMI cable, an HDMI->DVI-D adapter, an LG 22M35DA monitor, and a desktop PC connected to the same monitor via VGA.
The crux of the matter is this. When I power Malinka from USB on the PC and connect it to the monitor at the same time as the PC, everything works fine. If I connect Raspberry to the mains through the PSU described above, then the monitor does not receive a signal from Raspberry. It would seem that the whole thing is in the PSU ... But not everything is so simple: there is no signal even when connected to a PC-USB, if you pull the VGA cable out of the monitor. At the same time, if you insert VGA back, the signal from Raspberry appears again. It would seem that the whole thing is in the monitor, but how then to explain the lack of a signal when powered by a power supply unit? Any ideas?

I would recommend looking for another HDMI->DVI adapter, or even a one-piece cable (I have one and no problems with it).
