Strange bug in youtube player?

Hello, when you open the YouTube player in Firefox, the control buttons disappear.
If you open a https link, then everything is fine, but if you open http, YouTube redirects to https and the player is already without buttons. This is only in firefox (windows / linux) browser version 44.0.1. Is this behavior just me? Or has someone else encountered this too? Thank you all.
