Stops printing a printer forwarded via RDP. How to fix?

Stops printing a printer forwarded via RDP. On the computer where it is installed, it works without problems. On the server (via RDP) it also worked fine before. On the server itself, the printer is visible in redirected. It starts printing only after a reboot - then it stops at a certain moment. Removing the printer from the PC and reinstalling it did not help. Rebooting the server every time is also problematic. Printer Canon MF4410. How to fix?

This happens when an incorrect job hangs up the print queue.

As a temporary solution:
1. Stop the print manager
2. Clear the print queue in \spool\ (I don’t remember the exact name of the directory - windows is not at hand, but I haven’t climbed there myself - probably for a dozen years ...)
3. Start the print queue.
As a permanent - try using screwdrivers or other alternative printing methods.

I had the same problem with an old HP printer.
Everything was solved by raising the print server and connecting the printer through it.
Perhaps you have a problem with the drivers on the server. Try it:
Open gpedit.msc and navigate to:
Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Printers.
The list of policies should include the following:
Execute print drivers in isolated processes
Override print driver execution compatibility setting reported by print driver

Install a screwdriver and forget about these problems.

On the server, I would delete all the drivers in the print server, including the Easy Print Driver, in the server policy I would forcibly force only the user's default printer to be forwarded .... It helped me at one time.
