Start page script?

Good day to all friends!
I have my own blog and I want to make a "Start Page" link on it, but unfortunately I did not find working scripts. Can anyone suggest a working script, thanks in advance?
Something to support all browsers.

Today, the link "Make homepage" is bad form for the user who visited your site. And if, in addition, you put the link in the most visible and most important place and it will not disappear after you have made your site the home page, users will simply not like it and they will leave your site.
