SSD + Windows + various IDEs and simple programs. Should you buy an SSD?

I'm thinking of buying a 250 GB SDD (Samsung 850 EVO). What are the main advantages of working in conjunction with IDE + SDD? Now it costs 6 GB of RAM, perhaps because of this, everything is assembled and compiled for a long time. Maybe then take 16 GB of RAM (HyperX FURY Black Series)?

increasing the RAM will not give such a profit as ssd.
so take it for sure.
