SSD on server in raid or not?

There is a server.
There are SSD, HDD drives, RAID controller. Virtualization.
Will be used as Windows Server + MSSQL-server.
Under SQL DB - SSD RAID1.
Is it better to put WIN SRV itself on a solo SSD? Or on a solo HDD? or also on RAID1? Why?

I would bet entirely on RAID1.

"Solo" disk on the server can only be a flash drive with OS installation. In your work, forget about the SOLO disk altogether, it will fail, what will you do? 3 Hours to restore, and the server to stand?
