SSD + mdamd RAID10 + LVM + KVM how to make TRIM work in Windows guests?
How to make TRIM work in Windows guests on KVM in general and Proxmox in particular?
There is a RAID10 of 6 SSD disks, LVM on top of them, the machines are raised on KVM, they have disks, these are pieces of LVM (RAW). Everything that is on the Internet has already been tried, in terms of switching controllers to virtual and tell - it does not work.
At the same time, the scheme itself works, there is support for RAID10 + LVM in the kernel.

In this configuration, the TRIM commands must be sent by the host system (Linux), not the virtual one. That's why it doesn't work, because not the SSD itself, but the virtual disk, was issued for use by Windows. Windows itself should not know whether the SSD is there or not.
And why do trim, on all new ssd disks it seems that it has not been needed for the last two years already, I don’t have any trim and I don’t observe any speed degradation.
