SQUID + SAMS = transparent authorization, how?

Good day! There is a bunch, sams + squid, everything is spinning on debian. The system is configured according to this article:

consider user traffic.

What is the question then? It does not authorize or does not count?

If you have not worked with SAMS, for starters, in general, specify in the settings that authorization by IP.
"SAMS Administration" -> "Settings" -> "
User Authentication Method".
To apply the settings (any) you need SQUID -> Reconfigure SQUID.
