SQL - working with database cells (increasing the number of Id, changing id throughout the database) how to do it programmatically or through phpMyAdmin?
Hello friends, there was a task to update the site on CMS Joomla 1.2.26 to the latest version of Joomla 3.6. But not just update, but also activate the premium template. But since the template didn’t want to work adequately after updating the site, I had to choose the option through the wrong passage - expand the start pack of the theme (the start pack is a special Jomla installer that puts its content at the end of the Joomla installation, as a result of which the site looks one to one as on the theme sales page) and transfer to a clean database (base start pack) Jooml's content from the updated database. This was the introduction.
For the first time I came face to face with relational databases, so I have not worked with them globally yet. Trouble appeared, since the start pack already had its own content, of course, that they (the content) were occupied by the content IDs in the database .... In general, closer to the topic ...
Guys:
1) How to rename the record ID in the database so that did this new ID automatically replace the old one throughout the database?
2) Suppose the mysql table contains id numbers 1,2,3,4,5, how can I rename them to 2000,2001,2003,2004,2005?
3) Is it possible to do all this without the command line, but let's say through the program?
Thanks to all who answered.
