Spring MVC application and two domain names or two web applications but interacting?

Greetings, dear colleagues!!
The point is. The customer asked for a presentation web application with interactive interaction between the speaker and users through polls, tests, and more. The speaker has his own interfaces, and the visitors of the presentation have their own. Initially, it was thought that everything would be in the form of one web application. But now the customer wants the interfaces for speakers to be on one domain name, and for users - on another.
There was a question. Is it possible to avoid dividing the web application into two parts, but interacting with each other??
Will I be able to implement processing in one web application and have Spring Security work just as well? Thank you for your attention..

@programmerjava

You can define a domain
that can be passed to the action.
At the expense of secure is unlikely.
If I were you, I would put everything related to logic and the base into a separate module, modules for clients and speakers would connect it and implement only specific things, but you still have to follow the base well in this case and migrate it correctly.
