Speech recognition. Yandex SpeechKit or Google Speech API?
Hello!)
I want to add a simple voice control to my Android application. Android smartphones already have built-in speech recognition and synthesis capabilities (offline), and if there is an Internet connection, all requests are sent to Google servers. In general, this solution suits me very much, but I can’t find information anywhere about the restrictions on using the Google API. How many requests can be sent, and whether you need to somehow register your application (receive a key).
I also looked in the direction of Yandex SpeechKit. Everything seems to be fine, too, especially pleased with the "voice activation" and "context extraction" functions. But there is a limit of 10,000 requests per day. How much you have to pay for the business version is unknown.
Questions:
1. Are Yandex SpeechKit restrictions in requests related to the application as a whole, or for each user?
2. What are the limitations of Google?
3. What to tell users if the limit has already been reached? For example, I will count the number of requests on the server.
