Sound over LAN from another PC?

Good evening!
Such a moment - I have a need to adjust the sound from the main PC through another PC.

Those. I have:

  • a computer is connected to the stereo, there I have movies, music, a web server, backups, etc., the motherboard has built-in optics in the same place.
  • and there is a working computer for which I spend almost all the time.

both of them are naturally in the same locale

at the moment I have 2 solutions so that I can listen to music from the main one through the second computer
  1. via Bluetooth
  2. connecting via remote desktop

Both of these options have their drawbacks.
  • Bluetooth is worse sound quality and there are interruptions (although this is rare), but there is less hemorrhoids, I connect it like a regular portable speaker and that's it
  • if you use via remote desktop, then the quality is normal, but you need to constantly switch ...

I wonder if there is an option to make a circuit similar to Bluetooth, but through a local network?
in general, I think of course to take an adequate sound card, but there is a nuance that for good it would be necessary to change the receiver to something more interesting, so I think that I should already take a sound card for it, otherwise it will turn out as usual and there will be no necessary ports if to do the opposite ... in short, this is in the plans, but for now I want to somehow manage with what I have on hand ...

I did not understand the question - should I listen to a working PC? - so share the folder on the network simply
or start playing remotely from a PC where are the movies and music? there are many options here too. just hang up any option with a web interface and click through the browser, for example ...
