Sound from the computer through the switched off TV to the soundbar. Can?
I have a PC, a TV (LG 49UH610V) and a soundbar (LG LAS454B). I want the sound from the PC to go to the soundbar. From the PC threw HDMI to the TV. The soundbar TV is connected with an optical cable (LG Sound Sync is selected in the TV settings). On the PC, I select the TV in the playback devices. When the TV is turned on, sound from the PC goes to the soundbar normally. But no matter how much you want to turn on the TV every time to listen to music from your computer. Well, when the TV is off, the sound is not forwarded to the soundbar. I understand that the TV, that the soundbar is always in standby mode anyway. Is it possible to output sound from a PC through the switched off TV to the soundbar?
UPD:They advised me to buy a bluetooth adapter for a PC and connect directly to the soundbar via bluetooth. I think this will be the solution
