Soldering DDR2/DDR3 (BGA) at home - is it possible?

I'm interested in this question:
I want to play around with DDR2 / DDR3, but they are produced only in a BGA package and, accordingly, a multilayer board (3 layers) and an IR oven are needed.
Is it possible to use it at home?
I saw adapters (a socket with a press), but they are expensive.
Or maybe there are ready-made breadboards for this business?
An adapter from BGA to TQFP will also work.

You can solder BGA at home, you don’t need an IR oven, the simplest soldering iron costs about 20 thousand rubles - Chinese ceramics for heating on the bottom, on top, most often, a lamp ( shop.siriust.ru/product_info.php/cPath/23_28_269/p.. If you have experience , the memory can be easily soldered with air (with a hair dryer), though lower heating is desirable. You will also need
balls, stencils, flux, a soldering iron.BGA development
boards are rarely used, but they are found, for example:
www.rpdpro.com/element/759350. html
www.proto-advantage.com/store/index.php?cPath=4000
https://www.google.ru/search?ie=UTF-8&hl=ru&q=bga%...
I don't know if there is for memory ( probably not)
ddr2 and ddr3 are not in TSOP, only BGA
can use brackets?

I heard that you can find DDR2 not in a BGA package, but I really didn’t find it anywhere for sale.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
