[Software] Local chat \ messenger with convenient sending of screenshots. Is there one?

I am looking for a software messenger that works on a local area (LAN) without access to the Internet.
The main feature that is needed is to paste screenshots from the clipboard into the message box (as in skype)
Freeware is desirable. Preferably without a separate server (clients themselves scan the network and find each other)
Is there such a thing in nature?

Under Windows and the client-client messenger I do not know this.
I will still advise the Client-Server option, we have had it for a long time, a cool thing
