So how do you deal with layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and in general with Firefox's new approach to displaying sites and skins?

The next update of Firefox put a big pig on Windows users: the “Large fonts (120%)” setting specified in Windows began to be perceived by Firefox as a command to increase all fonts on sites and in the skins of the browser itself up to 120% - as well as increase images (which leads, as and any non-multiple increase, to an unpleasant blur of pictures).

In the news about this novelty, which was posted by traneblow on Habrahabr on June 25, it was recommended to go to the about:config page and set the value of the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx setting to one to prevent the increase.

It worked. However, now, although sites are displayed in their natural size, and images on sites and in skins are shown unstretched (and therefore crisp), the overly small font of skins has become a problem. For example, take a look at the tab stubs, the address field, and the status bar in this screenshot:

Has the Firefox community been able to come up with a recipe that would allow you to fight this and completely overcome it?

It helped me
layout.css.devPixelsPerPx = 1.0 With the NoSquint extension
we set the Text Zoom Level to 120 and set the zoom method to "Text Only" With the Theme Font & Size Changer extension we increase the font size in the interface. Added bonus - Australis becomes really compact and rendering errors on Hi DPI disappear (for example, when the top of the active tab and the window open-close buttons go off the edge of the screen by a couple of pixels)
