smartctl utility. What is Drive Trip Temperature?

I want to see the temperature of the hard drive. I type the command:
smartctl -a /dev/da5 | grep Temperature
Temperature Warning: Enabled
Current Drive Temperature: 40 C
Drive Trip Temperature: 68 C
What is Drive Trip Temperature?

Limit temperature. As far as I remember, when this mark is reached, automatics should work, which will turn off the disk.
