Smart search in Joomla?

Hello! Connected the smart search module on the site made using CMS Joomla. The problem is this, it means that I placed the search itself using positions in the site menu. When I enter for the first time in the search line (in the site menu) any word or sentence for search, it does not give hints, but the search itself works and gives results.
Further, if you enter the search not in the menu itself, but below in the search bar that appears, then hints are given there. The essence of the question is whether hints should appear when I type in the search placed in the menu?
The figure shows where hints work and where they don't.
Or is this how the module is supposed to work?

Everything is very simple. A copy of this module stylized as a menu should be placed instead of the current search in the menu. If it still won't work, then check the script, it is possible that only one copy or by ID is launched. If by ID, then, accordingly, you need to remake the javascript part of the module to use the class or launch another instance of the search.
It is better to remake it under class, because wherever you insert the search string of this module on the page, the search will work everywhere in this way.
