Are there any real disadvantages of the Chinese versions compared to the European ones (I will put an adapter on the plug)?

And then I read, and it looks just the opposite, there are more devices, ping to Chinese servers is good, and in general you can replace them with homeassistant.

Maybe not Aqara at all, but Xiaomi Gateway is more convenient in this scenario?
